This GivingTuesday, we are raising funds in support of Gettysburg National Military Park’s Traveling Trunks program. This program sends educational activities and lesson plans to classrooms across the country, impacting 10,000 students every school year.

The Gettysburg Foundation invites you to join our efforts to support the education mission of our partner Gettysburg National Military Park and the Traveling Trunks program. Your help will continue and grow this important educational resource for students in history classrooms nationwide for years to come. The Foundation encourages you to come together this GivingTuesday, Nov. 29, 2022, to help travel the trunks to classrooms across the United States. With your generosity, we will be able to provide these Traveling Trunks of materials related to the Battle of Gettysburg and the American Civil War for classrooms to learn about this significant time in American history for school years to come.

Every donation received will be used to upgrade existing activities, outfit new trunks, and ship trunks to schools. With your help, we will ensure that future generations are educated about Gettysburg’s important place in history.
