National Public Lands Day - Volunteer Clean Up 

Description

8 a.m. - Noon

We are looking for about 50 volunteers to help saw (no chain saws or gas/electric operated devices used by volunteers) cut and haul the cut debris.  All tools, gloves and equipment will be provided by NPS.

  • Parking along Warren Ave. (This avenue is closed to the general public but it will be open to volunteers for parking that day.
  • The terrain is rocky and uneven. Volunteers should wear long pants, sturdy shoes, long-sleeved shirts are recommended.  
  • Children under 10 are not recommended.
  • All volunteers will be required to complete and sign an NPS VIP form on-site prior to work
